Giulliano Montijo, born in 1979, Brazil, Sao Paulo, is a multifaceted artist who has always sought inspiration in street art and music. From early age on he was involved with the graffiti and hip hop culture, while he developed a side project as drummer and backing vocals of a band of grunge and punk. After a few years with this band, their attention turns to new music technology, and gradually his interest in electronic music grew, and in particular by techno. The take off came in 2002, when he begins to attend private techno parties, when he discovered its many affinities with the world of underground electronic music. From that initial contact, his interests in electronic music lead him to pursue other aspects of this style, as Low BPM, Minimal Techno and Progressive. Finally, after incorporating all these influences, in 2006 started producing his own tracks, opting for the weight and independence that electronic music offers. His minimal and techno tracks are characterized by the weight of influences from punk rock movement and Grunge. Founder of the band with Dan Raken , called "Smoking Ashes" has been signed on Freitag and a proudly represenative of the label in Brazil / SA.
Giulliano Montijo, nascido em 1979, Brasil, SP, capital, é um artista multifacetado, que sempre buscou inspirações na street arte e na música. Desde muito cedo se viu envolvido com o grafitti e a cultura hip hop, ao mesmo tempo em que desenvolvia um projeto paralelo como bateirista e back vocal de uma banda de grunge e punk rock. Após alguns anos com essa banda, sua atenção se volta às novidades musicais tecnológicas, e aos poucos seu interesse pela música eletrônica foi aumentando, em especial pelo techno. O deslanche veio em 2002, quando começa a frequentar private parties de techno, quando descobre suas inúmeras afinidades com o mundo underground da música eletrônica. À partir desse contato inicial, seus interesses pela música eletrônica o levam a se enveredar por outras vertentes desse estilo, como Low BPM, Minimal Techno e Progressivo. Enfim, após incorporar todas essas influências, em 2006 passou a produzir suas próprias tracks, optando assim pelo peso e independência que a música eletrônica oferece. Suas tracks são caracterizadas pelo peso das influências vindas do movimento Punk Rock e Grunge.
